All of these poems were written in 2007. Some will make you laugh out loud. Others may cause you to pause, and think a little.
The poems cover a wide variety of themes. Some have an "environmental" flavour. There are poems about his favourite poet, CJ Dennis. Others, have nothing in common at all, other than that they were written in 2007.
There are also several poems for children.
This, the book’s back cover, is an opportunity
For me to recommend this little book of poetry.
You really can’t imagine just how mighty this book is.
It’s choc-a-bloc with ripper poems that pop and crack and fizz.
So, buy this little beauty.
It’s an act you won’t regret.
You’ll be laughing. You’ll be crying. It’s as good as it can get,
And don’t believe those folk who say that poetry is dead.
I’m sure you’ll find this book’s by far the best you’ve ever read
