As author/editor of ten books, Ruth Bonetti has been published by a large publishing house (Oxford University Press; Enjoy Playing the Clarinet with its accompanying piano book) and a smaller niche publisher (Albatross Books published Taking Centre-Stage; How to survive and enjoy performing in public which is now republished as Confident Music Performance)

She was Editorial Consultant for the Australian Music Examinations Board Clarinet Syllabus books, grades 1-4, published by Allans Publishing.

Kathryn is a writer and publisher based in Melbourne. She founded Celapene Press in 2004 to provide publishing opportunties for new and emerging Australian writers and co-founded Page Seventeen, before starting Short and Twisted in 2008.

Kathryn enjoys writing for children and her children provide the inspiration for her stories.

Lyn was a high school teacher before travelling for ten years - camping around Europe, housekeeping in London and hostessing aboard P&O cruise ships. Writing and Music were passions, so after marriage Lyn concentrated on writing/directing musicals and cantatas for church and school groups. Producing material for her own three children led Lyn to write volumes of performance poetry entitled Spotlight, Limelight, Highlights and Starlight, Footlights;  monologues entitled Aussie Shorts  and Choices; and skits for private or classroom use entitled Classic Duos, Dazzling Duos, Skids  and Small Talk. A volume of miscellaneous writing, Glimpses, was co-authored with three other ladies.

For six years, Lyn produced GROW  a literary quarterly with a Christian worldview, especially for young adolescents. From this has developed GROW - Under the Southern Cross, an illustrated anthology featuring stories and poems contributions from many of Australia¹s top writers for young people.

Lyn tutors in both Creative Writing and Speech and Drama, helps coordinate the Brisbane-based Omega Christian Writers and the Alpha 2 Omega Literary and Dramatic Arts Convention.

Wendy McNeice, who is a qualified lay minister, has been a panelist and workshop presenter, a creative writing, history and literacy teacher and an information adviser to government and business. Wendy has numerous articles published in international media under her married and maiden names.

Wendy’s speaking engagements include the Alpha2AOmega Literary and Dramatic Arts Convention, Radio 96.5 Family Festival, the Redlands Easter Festival, the United Nations Association Global Education Project, St Louis, USA., Scouts Queensland and the inaugural Australian Christian Business Women’s conference. Wendy also appeared on Radio 4RPH, Brenda’s People and did PR work and storytelling for local government in Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.

Victoria has been a Freelance Writer for 12 years. She is the editor of the New Zealand Christian Writer Magazine and is a Freelance Photographer.

Victoria is married with 3 school age children.

Marlene is an Early Childhood teacher, a teacher of English as a Second Language and from 1987-2000 was an AFAC accredited fitness leader. She has a background in music. These combined skills, together with a keen interest in motor development in children, led to the creation of Kidz-Fiz-Biz which is now available in book form: Kidz-Fiz-Biz -learning through drama, dance and song, and also Kidz-Fiz-Biz Multicultural – learning about other cultures through drama, dance and song.

Kathie is wife of Graham, mother (and step-mother) to five beautiful daughters and a business woman, running a full time international business from her home office in Melbourne, Australia.

Kathie is also a Virtual Assistant, VA Coach and Trainer, Public Speaker, Blogger and Author and has published over a hundred articles in various printed and online publications relating to operating a business from home.

She also writes devotionals for Christian publications and is a member of Faithwriters.com.

Stephen Whiteside has been writing and performing poetry for over thirty years. He has written extensively for both adults and children. Many of his poems have been published in magazines and anthologies, both in Australia and overseas. He has recently self-published two volumes of poetry, "Poems of 2007" and "Early Poems and Songs (including "Omeo")".

Stephen works as a medical practitioner. He is married, with two wonderful children.

Allan was the Technical Commercial Manager, Digital Televisions Services, with Philips Public telecommunications Systems.  In 1994 he joined the team responsible for Philips broadband network and the Telstra $4.2 billion engineering and supply contract for the Telstra build of the world's first national FTTN infrastructure.  Allan was on the governments task force for the introduction of digital television. 

He holds a marketing diploma from Harvard university and qualifications in Electronics Engineering from the Auckland Technical Institute, is a member of the Royal Society, a foundation director of the Total Quality Managment Institute of AUstralia and a Rotarian.

Gerard has more than thirty years experience in the book business, mainly in educational publishing, and has a Masters degree in philosophy. He wrote and published two titles which were an application of the ideas developed in his thesis: The Media of the Republic and The Telecard Affair: Diary of a Media Lynching. His real writing passion, however, has always been fiction. After many years delay he set to writing the first novel in a planned trilogy, The Castle of Heavenly Bliss, which was published in 2005. It was followed with the second book in 2006, In This Vale of Tears. The ideas developed in his philosophy thesis also appear in the novels, but indirectly.

He has taken early retirement to devote himself full-time to writing. His next book will be a childhood memoir, Me and Pete: Recalling a Fifties Childhood.
